
From March 3 to 4, Liu Naiyu, Chairman of Shanghai Unicornshell Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., led a delegation to Indonesia. They met with Indonesian Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and Taufiek Bawazier, Director General of Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Textile Industries at the Ministry of Industry, and held discussions with several leading pharmaceutical companies. Minister Agus expressed interest in the technical direction and application prospects of HPMC capsules, noting that Indonesia's pharmaceutical industry is in a phase of structural optimization, with ample room for development of green, environmentally friendly new excipients that meet international standards. HPMC capsules are of positive significance in meeting the needs of Halal and vegetarian populations and enhancing the international competitiveness of products.

Indonesia has a population of approximately 280 million, the largest Muslim population in the world. As healthcare needs continue to grow, the pharmaceutical industry shows significant development potential. The two sides held practical discussions on capsule formulation technology adaptation, production status, and cooperation pathways, reaching a positive consensus on further promoting collaboration.
