🌿 Guide to the use and storage of plant capsules
(Applicable to HPMC capsules, hydroxypropyl starch capsules and other plant-based hollow capsules, plant softgels)
1️⃣ Storage conditions
- It is recommended to store in a dry, cool and ventilated place with temperature 15℃~25℃ and relative humidity 35%~65%.
- Avoid direct sunlight and high temperature to prevent moisture absorption or brittle cracking of the capsules.
- Do not mix with organic solvents, strong acid, strong alkali, oil, spices and other volatile substances.
2️⃣ Precautions for Use
- The capsules should be used as soon as possible after opening and should be kept sealed after opening.
- When operating, please avoid hand or environmental humidity, so as to avoid deformation of the capsule moisture absorption.
- If the capsule appears obvious discolouration, sticking, rupture, it is not recommended to use.
- Botanical capsules can be used in most conventional powders and micro-pills, but compatibility should be fully verified for highly oily contents or strong hygroscopic substances.
3️⃣ Transport and Handling
- Violent collision and extrusion should be avoided.
- Long-distance transport should be protected from rain, moisture and high temperature exposure.
4️⃣ Expiry date
- It is recommended to use the product within 48 months from the date of manufacture to ensure the best performance (the specific expiry date is subject to the product packaging identification).
5️⃣ Special Notes
- Enteric-coated botanical capsules should be stored in strict accordance with the manufacturer's recommended conditions to ensure that the enteric properties are not affected.
- For long term storage, please encapsulate or vacuum pack in a stable environment.
