On October 14, Ye Wanbin, Mayor of Wuwei City, Gansu Province, led a delegation to inspect Gansu Unicornshell Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Unicornshell Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. Accompanying officials included Xu Junsheng, Member of the Standing Committee of Liangzhou District Party Committee and Executive Deputy District Head, and Niu Shengbao, Deputy Director of Wuwei Industrial Park. During the visit, Mayor Ye gained detailed insights into the project's investment scale, production processes, future development plans, and current construction progress. The project manager reported on the company's construction status, R&D capabilities, future production equipment installation plans, and safety management protocols, while showcasing the construction site and production line layout. Mayor Ye Wanbin emphasized that the Unicornshell (Gansu) Vegetarian Capsule Project is a vital pillar for Wuwei's biomedical industry and a key driver for industrial upgrading and high-quality development. Upon completion, it will significantly enhance local production capacity for plant-based pharmaceutical excipients, stimulate related industrial chains, and achieve dual benefits in economic and social outcomes.
