On September 20-22, the 2023 Asia International Nutrition and Health Food Exhibition&Asia Food Ingredients Exhibition was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Unicorn and leading nutritional and health industry leaders from around the world are participating in the exhibition, showcasing Unicorn capsule products and capsule solutions at booth D46. Exhibition Introduction
Vitafoods Asia was held from September 20 to 22, 2023 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Thailand. This year, Vitafoods Asia was held in conjunction with the Asia Food Ingredients Exhibition Fi Asia, connecting more buyers and suppliers from the food and nutrition industries.
Vitafoods Asia is an international professional exhibition dedicated to the nutrition and health food, functional food, beverage, and dietary supplement industries in the Asia Pacific region. The exhibition covers the entire industry chain, including raw materials and ingredients, contract customization production and branding, finished product formulations, production machinery/equipment and services.
As the flagship exhibition of the Asian food and beverage industry, Fi Asia brings together raw material suppliers, distributors, and food and beverage manufacturers from ASEAN and even around the world, touring in Bangkok, Thailand and Jakarta, Indonesia.
Product Introduction
Capsules are important pharmaceutical excipients, and Unicorn's independently developed Vegetable capsules not only have a wide range of uses, but also have good safety. Compared to traditional animal gelatin capsules, the main advantages of Vegetable capsules include:
(I) Universal
- Its adaptability is wide, drug release speed is stable, dissolution is complete, efficacy is more significant and individual differences are small;
- It is suitable for filling various contents, such as preparations of Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and health care products.
(II) Stable physicochemical properties
- The water content is <8%, generally 4-6%, and it is less brittle and preferred for hygroscopic contents;
- It has stable molecular structure (no chemical reaction with air and water), and no risk of crosslinking reaction;
- It is not brittle under low humidity conditions, and the capsule shells remain stable under high humidity conditions;
- It has broad storage conditions, and will not be softened to become deformed or hardened to become brittle when the temperature is 10-40°C and the humidity is 35-65%;
- It is less prone to microorganism growth, and will not be decomposed and deteriorated after long-term storage, usually with a 36-month validity period.
(III) Special populations
- It is a vegetable capsule, with raw materials extracted from natural plants;
- It is especially suitable for vegetarians and religious populations such as Muslims, Islams, Jews, and Hindus.
(IV) No chemical residues
- There is no preservative added, no sterilization required before delivery, and no ethylene oxide residue.
(V) No bacterial contamination
- It contains no protein and amino acids, and a special production process is used, thus avoiding bacterial contamination again.
